The PLA Framework
We built the Platform Logic Alignment Framework after watching too many companies regret platform choices based on polished demos and vendor promises. It flips the traditional approach by starting with real customer needs and organizational workflows, then translating those into granular requirements that platforms get objectively scored against. Done internally, it may take 6-12 months — but it’s the difference between hoping you got it right and knowing you did.
The 180-Day Checklist for Data Transformation
Most companies treat product data transformation like it needs some grand vision when what it really needs is a plan to stop the bleeding first, then build structure, then actually improve things. This checklist breaks it into three 60-day phases—stabilize the chaos, systematize what’s working, then scale toward the future—with specific actions for each stage so teams know exactly what to focus on and when. It’s not inspirational, but it works because it meets you where you actually are, not where you wish you were.
The Kano Prioritization Model
The Kano Model helps product teams stop chasing shiny objects by categorizing features based on the type of satisfaction they create—Threshold features customers assume exist, Performance features that drive competitive differentiation, and Exciters they don’t ask for but love when they appear. It balances stability, growth, and innovation by forcing teams to ask “what kind of satisfaction will this create?” instead of just “what should we build next?” Most of us have lived through roadmaps that prioritized everything equally, and this framework gives you the language to finally say no to the wrong things.
